Direction for Our Times thanks you for your interest in hosting a Eucharistic Renewal event at your parish!
The mission of Direction for Our Times is first and foremost to spread the good news contained in the messages given to Anne, a lay apostle. Eucharistic Renewal E vents have proven to be highly effective in achieving our mission by reaching out to lay apostles as well as to many others who attend with a very limited exposure to the L ay Apostolate of Jesus Christ the Returning King.
Since Anne a lay apostle could not possibly travel to all the events where there is an interest in the apostolate, we are relying on dedicated lay apostles to plan and implement local Eucharistic events. With great joy, we can see that this is happening, and has resulted in Eucharistic Renewal Events being held more and more often in different parts of the world. Anne a lay apostle tells us that these events are very important in this mission. Graces are flowing as a result.
Anne a lay apostle asked for a tool kit to be developed to help more people with these EDR’s. This tool kit has been developed by a dedicated lay apostle, Pam Robertson, to assist lay apostles in the planning and implementation of a local Eucharistic Renewal Event. In the following pages, we hope you will find most of what you will need to organize an event, including action plans, checklists, templates of advertising methods, and much more.
Throughout the entire process, we urge you to always remain in obedience to the Church, and to secure the permission of the parish pastor. Also, please read the article about evangelizing written by Anne, a lay apostle. We think it will give you the true spirit and purpose for the adventure you are about to begin. Those who have gone before you have spoken of the great joy they experienced when they served Jesus in this way.
