I wanted to let you know about the little book on depression you gave me for Frank about two years ago. Frank liked that book a lot. We met someone a year or so ago that had depression, and he gave his copy away. I never got him another, and then when he was really sick this last month in the hospital, Mark visited him and brought him the Anne book on depression. Frank was so happy to see it again. He literally clung to that book for three days straight. And I mean clung to it, he slept with it, read and reread every page over and over. It gave him such comfort in his absolute darkest hours. That book is a little miracle, he believes it was written with him in mind, and I don’t doubt Frank was one of the souls Jesus was thinking of when he gave the words to Anne.
So I just wanted to let you know how important the work your husband is doing by helping that ministry. If you ever doubt on a bad day, just know that the books that he is working to help bring about are making a huge difference. It did for Frank.
