Translating Into German

My name is Helga. I am from Austria, therefore, my mother tongue is German. I am married with two daughters and six wonderful grandchildren.
About three years ago, I was given a copy of Climbing the Mountain by my good friend Andrea. I read the book and was deeply touched, as I found so much love and guidance in these inspiring words. Meanwhile, I have read and reread all the Volumes and booklets and with them it was just the same. I could not put them down and up to now I usually have a copy with me in my handbag. Why is it like that? I very strongly feel that Jesus in these writings is speaking directly to me, to my heart. I can feel it with my whole being. As a practising Catholic this is not entirely new to me but the joy and the peace that come with it have put a new dimension to my life. And I cannot emphasize it strongly enough how grateful I am to Anne, this wonderful lady from Ireland, for being such a blessed instrument in the hands of the Lord, passing on to the world His love, His encouragement, His peace. So, of course, I had the strongest desire to share this wonderful news – the words of Jesus, our Lady and many saints – with my German-speaking friends. I started to translate into German some of the writings. Meanwhile, Andrea had contacted the offices of Direction for Our Times in Ireland and Chicago and had – so to speak – prepared the way for me to get in touch with Crystal who used to be Translation Coordinator in those days. I was so uncertain and did not think that I could be of any help at all in this mission. But – oh, what encouragement and help I was given then by Crystal and nowadays by Christina who has taken over from Crystal as Translation Coordinator. The visit of Crystal and her husband Kevin in September 2010 was another big boost in our humble beginnings. We are thankful to the Lord for showing us through Crystal and Kevin what it means to have His love flowing through us to others. They are both perfect examples for that when they gave us all the information about this Lay Apostolate of Jesus Christ the Returning King. We were greatly blessed by their visit. With all that support, we – Fr. Günther, our parish priest, and I – so far were able to translate into German all the monthly messages and a few of the booklets. Soon a monthly prayer group was established and it turns out to be a constant source of grace and joy and light in this time of transition as we are moving out of this age of disobedience toward an age of obedience.
I am and always will be overwhelmed by the love Our Lord has for me and for every soul on earth. I only can encourage everyone to say Yes to our Lord‘s loving call, for I know He will shower him/her abundantly with blessings and grace.

Spread the Word

Direction For Our Times is a 501(c)(3) (non-profit) organization dedicated to spreading the eight-book collection entitled “The Volumes.” These books were given to Anne, a lay apostle, through a process known as interior locution. Many who read these books are discovering a renewal of faith and love that is changing their lives forever. It is a change in direct line with God’s plan, implemented in one soul at a time.
